
Alabama Volleyball Faces Oklahoma Wednesday in Norman

The Crimson Tide and Sooners face off at 6 p.m. CT in McCasland Fieldhouse
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama volleyball is back on the road this week, heading to Norman, Okla., on Wednesday for the first-ever matchup with Oklahoma as Southeastern Conference opponents. The Crimson Tide and Sooners face off at 6 p.m. CT streaming on the SEC Network Plus.

SCOUTING ALABAMA
- Alabama heads to Norman, Okla., for a midweek matchup against Oklahoma on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m. CT
- This is the first meeting between the Crimson Tide and Sooners as conference opponents and the first meeting overall between the teams since the first round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament in Stanford, Calif., a four-set win for Oklahoma
- Wednesday is the first if four straight road matches for Alabama before finishing the regular season with five at home
- The Tide earned its first top-25 win since 2016 last week with a five-set win over then-No. 25 Auburn before taking a three-set loss to 15th-ranked Kentucky
