Chelsi Carter joinined Rashinda Reed's staff as an assistant coach on January 1, 2022.
"I have had the pleasure of working with Chelsi in the early stages of her coaching career and I knew that she was something special," Reed said. "Her love for the game radiates through her, and her passion and drive to evolve as a coach is contagious. In her time at Western Carolina, Chelsi mentored one of her athletes to Libero of the Year, assisted her head coach to Coach of the Year and helped guide the Catamounts to winning seasons. Chelsi will not only be a great coach for the Alabama family but an amazing mentor."
