Tide Loyalty Points

Alabama Athletics and The University of Alabama Student Government Association are excited for another year of Tide Loyalty Points - the official fan loyalty program built exclusively for Alabama students!
You may be asking us why Tide Loyalty Points (TLP) is so important? It is a program that rewards students for being the biggest sports fan on campus. By attending as many sporting events as possible you will increase your chances of eligibility for a full-season football ticket package, postseason football and basketball tickets and so much more.
Students' priority access to regular season and postseason ticket packages is determined by their total Tide Loyalty Points.

5 Steps to Activate Your Account

In your phone settings make sure you
- Enable Bluetooth.
- Choose whether to allow location access "Always" or "While Using the App."
- Within the Tide Loyalty location settings, turn on the "Precise Location" button.
Important: Your account must be set up with a crimson.ua.edu email address. If you enter a personal email (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.), your account will not be recognized.
Trouble signing in? Email us at TideLoyalty@ia.ua.edu.
Note: These location settings only need to be enabled while attending home athletic events. You may modify or disable these settings when not in attendance at an athletic event. The beacon technology used to operate the program only detects whether your phone is inside the venue during an athletic event. The exact location of your phone at any given point in time can never be accessed or shared by The University of Alabama or any third-party entities.

What You Need to Know About Points!

The Point System
Now that you're logged in, let's start getting those points!
All currently enrolled University of Alabama students who are eligible for athletics tickets can participate. You can earn points throughout the school year in 5 different ways.
Priority access to regular season and postseason tickets will be determined by total points earned over the course of each student's enrollment.
Points are only awarded for credit hours earned at The University of Alabama. Transfer students with credit hours from other institutions will only receive points for credit hours earned while enrolled at UA.
How to Earn Points
- 25 points per UA credit hour earned
- 100 points per home athletic event attended. Watch for double and triple point nights
- 75 points per ticket donated by 5 p.m. CT on Wednesday of game week
- 25 points per ticket donated 2 hours prior to kickoff
- 250Â points per year that you join Crimson Chaos
- 250 points per football game when you stay through the fourth quarter
Credit Hours
Points earned for UA credit hours completed are automatically added to students' accounts after each semester once final grades have been submitted.
Donating Student Football Tickets
Don't let your ticket go unused. Ticket donation points will be added to students' accounts on the Monday following each home football game.
- 75 points - Donate by 5 p.m. CT on the Wednesday of game week.
- 25 points - Donate up to 2 hours before kickoff.
Points are posted on the Monday after the game. You cannot earn points for donating and attending the same game.
Crimson Chaos Members
- Join Crimson Chaos and earn 250 points as a one-time bonus, added once per year.
- Beginning October 1, bonus points are posted at the end of every month for new members.
Check-In Kiosks

Determining Ticket Priority
- March 10-20Â - Regular season snapshot: Points earned through the 2025 winter semester and events attended lock in your rank for the April opt-in.
- April - Regular season opt-in: Highest-ranked students get full season packages; remaining opt-ins get partial packages (3-4 games). All returning opt-ins are guaranteed a package.
- November 1-15 - SEC Championship snapshot: Ranks students for the SEC Championship ticket opt-in, if applicable.
- November 20-30 - CFP/Bowl snapshot: Final point totals for the season rank students for College Football Playoff or bowl game tickets until availability runs out.
Football Regular Season Tickets
Returning students who are interested in purchasing regular season tickets must opt in during the designated opt-in window, which takes place each April before the season.
After the opt-in period has closed, students will be ranked from highest to lowest Tide Loyalty Point total. Full-season ticket packages will be assigned until inventory is exhausted. Once full-season packages have been been assigned, all remaining students who opted in will be offered a partial-season ticket package.
Students' point totals will include all UA credit hours earned through the winter semester, plus all events attended while enrolled at The University of Alabama through the designated spring cutoff date (approximately March 10-20).
Football Postseason Tickets
Students interested in purchasing postseason tickets must opt in during the designated opt-in windows for:
- SEC Championship Game (if applicable)
- College Football Playoff or bowl game (if applicable)
After each opt-in period closes, students will be ranked from highest to lowest Tide Loyalty Point total, and tickets will be assigned until inventory is exhausted.
SEC Championship Game tickets (if applicable) will be allocated using Tide Loyalty Point totals earned through the early November cutoff date.
College Football Playoff or bowl game tickets will be allocated using Tide Loyalty Point totals earned through the late November cutoff date.
Students' point totals on those dates will include all UA credit hours earned through the applicable summer semester and all Alabama Athletics events attended while enrolled at The University of Alabama.
Postseason Tickets - Other Sports
The postseason student ticket sales process for other sports will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
When The University of Alabama receives a student ticket allotment, priority access to purchase those tickets will be determined by Tide Loyalty Points.
