
Alabama Falls to Oklahoma in Three Sets Wednesday in Norman

NORMAN, Okla. – Alabama volleyball fell to Oklahoma Wednesday night in three sets, 11-25, 20-25 and 12-25.
Alabama (10-9, 2-6 SEC) was in a hole early after Oklahoma (9-7, 3-5 SEC) opened set one with 11 unanswered points and held on to win by double digits at 25-11. A Sooner attack error gave the Crimson Tide its first lead of the match early in set two, 7-6, and led by two soon after following a Chaise Campbell ace that made it 9-7. Later trailing 18-15, Alabama scored four in a row to retake the lead at 19-18 but the home team was soon back on top, ending the frame with four straight to win, 25-20, and take a 2-0 match lead. Oklahoma scored four in a row again to start the third and charged ahead to win, 25-12, and complete the sweep.
