No. 6/15 Alabama Swimming and Diving Returns to Competition with Midseason Invites

Alabama swimmers are competing in College Station, Texas, at the Art Adamson Invitational while the Crimson Tide divers are in Morgantown W. Va., for the WVU Invite
COLLEGE STATION, Texas. – The Alabama men's and women's swimming and diving teams return to action this week with the swimmers competing in College Station, Texas, at the Art Adamson Invitational Nov 16-18, while the divers are in Morgantown W.Va., for the WVU Invite, Nov 17-19.
The No. 6-ranked Alabama women are currently 3-0 on the season with wins over No. 19 Arkansas, No. 23 South Carolina and LSU. The No. 15 Crimson Tide men also hold a 3-0 record with wins over LSU, South Carolina and Delta State.
Art Adamson Invitational
- The invitational runs Wednesday to Thursday with prelims starting at 9:30 a.m., CT and finals getting underway at 5:30 p.m. each day
- The invitational will take place at the Rec Center Natatorium and will include six teams - Alabama, Texas A&M, Air Force, LSU, TCU and USC
- Results can be found on Meet Mobile and the meet will be streamed on SEC Network+
WVU Invite
- The invite starts Thursday and runs through Saturday, with diving starting at 11:30 p.m. CT on Thursday and Friday and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday
- The Invite will be held at The Aquatic Center at Mylan Park

Alabama in the Top-25 Nationally
- Alabama currently has 23 swims ranked in the top-25 nationally following their first three meets of the season
- Kensey McMahon ranks first in the 1,000 freestyle (9:41.86), sixth in the 200 butterfly (1:56.97) and seventh in the 500 freestyle (4:46.15)
- Matt Menke ranks fifth in the 50 backstroke (21.58) and seventh in the 100 backstroke (46.68)
- Kalia Antoniou is tied for eighth in the 50 freestyle (22.36) and ranks 13th in the 100 freestyle (49.39)
- Rhyan White ranks eighth in the 100 backstroke (52.89), ninth in the 200 backstroke (1:56.61) and is tied for 10th in the 50 backstroke (24.70)
- Avery Wiseman ranks 10th in the 200 breaststroke (2:11.01) and 15th in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.81)
- Morgan Scott ranks 11th in the 100 backstroke (52.95) 20th in the 100 freestyle (49.59), is tied for 23rd in the 50 freestyle (23.80) and 25th in the 200 individual medley (2:01.78)
- Emily Jones ranks 13th in the 50 backstroke (24.86)
- Derek Maas ranks 13th in the 100 breaststroke (53.52)
- Kaique Alves ranks 15th in the 200 freestyle (1:35.98) and 17th in the 100 freestyle (43.61)
- Victor Johansson ranks 22nd in the 1,000 freestyle (9:12.59)
- Diana Petkova ranks 22nd in the 200 individual medley (2:01.37) and 25th in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.64)
Last Time Out
- The Tide set four LSU Natatorium records during their sweep over the Tigers
- Kensey McMahon led the women setting pool records in the 500 and 1,000 freestyle and posting a career-best mark in the 200 butterfly, winning all three events on the way to earning SEC Swimmer of the Week honors
- Matt Menke and Derek Maas led the men with two individual wins each, sweeping the breaststroke and backstroke events
- The Crimson Tide men also broke two pool records bettering the Natatorium marks in the 400 freestyle relay and the 200 medley relay
