Alabama Soccer Travels to Texas to Face Rice and Lamar

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama women's soccer faces its first two road tests when they travel to Texas. The Crimson Tide will face Rice Thursday night at 7 p.m. CT in Houston and will play against Lamar on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT in Beaumont.

Junior Casey Wertz – penalty kick at the 77th minute (3-0)
The Tide outshot the Utes 15-8 with sophomore Riley Mattingly leading the team with four shots
Alabama earned nine more corner kicks (10-1) than Utah
Plavin grabbed four saves and earned her first win of the season in the shutout victory
