Amy Bommarito is in her second year at Alabama as the Crimson Tide's graduate assistant for volleyball operations.
A four-year volleyball letter winner at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., she helped the Bears to the Division III National Volleyball Championship. She served as captain of the 2005 and 2006 squads, and earned First-Team All-Conference honors in 2006.
After earning her degree in Psychology from Washington University in 2007 she worked as an assistant volleyball coach and an assistant to the athletic director at North Central College as NCAA's intern program.
In addition to working several volleyball camps at Washington, where she instructed campers on team drills and directing team bonding activities, she was also the Field House Building Supervisor, overseeing the various athletic complex's activities. She was involved with Washington University's football tours, where she helped show the campus to prospective student-athletes and discuss campus life issues.
