HEAD COACH DAN WATERS
"What a great weekend for the Crimson Tide. We had numerous outstanding individual performances across the country, with none bigger than Doris (Lemngole) posting the second-fastest indoor women's 5,000m in collegiate history, breaking our school record along the way at Boston while Hilda (Olemomoi) finished as the fastest collegiate runner in the women's 3,000m event. I couldn't be prouder of the work those two have put in with Coach (Nick) Stenuf to get to this point. Over in Clemson, Ruben (Banks) recorded an NCAA-leading mark in the weight throw, and I'm super proud of him and his preparation with Coach (Derek) Yush. Multiple student-athletes set PRs again this weekend, which is a great way to close out the regular season. With SECs right around the corner, it's important to keep our foot on the gas and training this next week."
