Ogazi Takes Gold in 400m at Commonwealth Games

The Crimson Tide sprinter continued his dominance in the event, securing gold in Glasgow
GLASGOW, Scotland – Defending outdoor national champion and Southeastern Conference champion Samuel Ogazi maintained his elite form in the 400m at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, as Ogazi added to his growing trophy case following a 44.25 in the 400m Final at EDF Scotstoun Stadium, securing a first-place finish. The medal stands as the first senior medal of Ogazi's international racing career.
Ogazi obtained his first senior medal at the Commonwealth Games following a superlative youth career where the Nigerian earned gold in the 200m, 400m and mixed 4x100m relay.
