NORMAN, Okla. - No. 7/7/7 Alabama football (8-3, 4-3) was defeated 24-3 by the Oklahoma Sooners (6-5, 2-5) on Saturday evening at Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
Quarterback Jalen Milroe finished 11-of-26 through the air, totaling 164 yards and three interceptions. The redshirt junior also contributed seven rushing yards on 15 carries. Jam Miller led the Crimson Tide backfield with 45 rushing yards on 12 carries, while Justice Haynes picked up 18 yards on the ground as the result of his three rushes.
Germie Bernard managed team-highs in receiving yards (60), receptions (4), and targets (8). Josh Cuevas reeled in two catches for 40 yards, while Ryan Williams turned his two catches into 37 yards.
On defense, linebacker Jihaad Campbell was responsible for a team-best 12 tackles, including three solo stops. The Butkus Award semifinalist also recorded a half a tackle for loss. Safety Bray Hubbard racked up 11 total tackles to go with eight solo stops and a forced fumble. Fellow safety Malachi Moore also finished with double-digit stops, making 10 total tackles with eight individual stops while producing Alabama's lone sack.
