
No. 13/13/13 Alabama Pushes Past Auburn, 28-14, for Fifth-Straight Iron Bowl Victory

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The No. 13/13/13 Alabama football team won its fifth-consecutive Iron Bowl, capturing a 28-14 victory over the Auburn Tigers in front of a sold-out crowd inside Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Crimson Tide and first-year head coach Kalen DeBoer conclude the regular season with a 9-3 overall record, including a perfect 7-0 mark at home.
Alabama racked up 457 yards of total offense on its way to the win, including 201 yards on the ground. Jalen Milroe led UA's offensive attack, throwing for 256 yards on 18-of-24 passing. The redshirt junior also finished with 104 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 17 attempts. Jam Miller paced the Tide backfield with 28 carries, closing with 84 rushing yards. Justice Haynes managed 20 yards on seven attempts, adding a touchdown.
Germie Bernard led the Tide in receptions (7) and receiving yards (111) on his 10 targets.
On defense, Jihaad Campbell collected a team-high nine total tackles, with one for loss, to go with a pair of quarterback hurries. Domani Jackson totaled eight tackles - six solo - and two pass breakups, while Tim Keenan III recorded the Tide's lone sack on the night. Malachi Moore was all over the field, finishing with four tackles along with three pass breakups. Bray Hubbard and Zabien Brown both notched interceptions as well.

- With the victory, Alabama increased its all-time series advantage over Auburn to 51-37-1, including five-straight wins over the in-state foe
- The Tide's five consecutive wins is the longest win streak over the Tigers since UA won nine-straight from 1973 to 1981
- In his first season in Tuscaloosa, Kalen DeBoer has produced an overall record of 9-3, which ties Frank Thomas' nine victories in 1931 for the most by a first-year head coach in program history
- The Crimson Tide extended its winning streak against unranked teams at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium to 84 consecutive games with the win, a streak that began in 2007
- With three rushing touchdowns against Auburn, Jalen Milroe now owns 33 rushing touchdowns, tying him for eighth-most in program history with Bobby Humphrey
- Additionally, Milroe's 20 rushing scores this season are the fourth-most by any player in a single season in program history
- Milroe is only the fourth signal-caller in Southeastern Conference history to record 20-plus rushing touchdowns, and is the first SEC QB to reach the plateau since Johnny Manziel (21, Texas A&M) in 2012
- Milroe was responsible for 104 rushing yards in the win, producing his third 100-plus yard rushing performance of 2024 and the fifth of his collegiate career
- The Crimson Tide is 7-0 this season when Milroe has rushed for at least two touchdowns, while improving to 11-0 during his career
- Malachi Moore is the first player in program history to win five consecutive Iron Bowls
- Moore finished with three pass breakups, a new career high. Moore surpassed his previous high of two PBUs that he has totaled twice in his career, most recently against Georgia on Sept. 28
