Alabama had six players selected to the preseason all-conference teams in Tampa
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team had six players selected to the 2026 Preseason Coaches All-Southeastern Conference Team, the league office announced Wednesday.
The Crimson Tide was represented by two players on the league's first team, both on defense. Alabama also had two second-team selections on offense along with a pair of third-teamers on the defensive side of the ball.

The Crimson Tide enters the 2026 season having won a league-leading 30 SEC Championships in program history, including eight of the last 14 conference titles. The Tide finished atop the SEC regular-season standings in 2025 to earn its spot in Atlanta. Alabama's 2026 season opener is set for Saturday, Sept. 5 inside Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Crimson Tide will take on East Carolina with kickoff set for 11 a.m. CT on ABC.
