
Bob Pollock Invitational on the Horizon for Alabama

The Crimson Tide will travel to Clemson, S.C., for a two-day meet, beginning on Friday
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The No. 19/15 Alabama men's and women's track and field teams will travel to Clemson, S.C., for the Bob Pollock Invitational, as UA competes at the Clemson Indoor Complex.
The Crimson Tide opens the two-day competition in the women's pole vault with Victoria Faber, Holly Foley, Alexis Rickenbacher and Tristan Barr leading things off at 10 a.m. CT Friday morning.
Saturday morning, Amani Heaven and Mye'Joi Williams lead things off for UA in the women's shot put at 9 a.m. CT.

- Date: Friday, Jan. 26 – Saturday, Jan. 27
- Time: Friday, first field event will begin at 10 a.m. in the women's pole vault, with the first track event starting at 11:50 a.m. in the men's 5000-meter run.
- Saturday, first field event will begin at 9 a.m. in the women's shot put, with the first track event starting at 11:15 a.m in the women's 800-meter run

- The women are traveling 29 to Clemson, while the men's travel list is 41 strong
LAST TIME OUT
- The Crimson Tide posted eight first-place finishes: Chandler Hayden (women's weight throw), Mye'Joi Williams (women's shot put), Ruben Banks (men's weight throw), Doris Lemngole (women's mile), Milan Fields (women's 60-meter), Arthur Graham (men's mile), Ethan Lemons (men's 3000-meter) and the squad of Hasani Barr, Samuel Ogazi, Oussama El Bouchayby and Khaleb McRae (men's 4x400-meter relay)
- Banks improved his personal-best with a 22.31-meter (73-2.50) launch on his third attempt in the men's weight throw
- Improved his already No. 3 mark all-time in UA program history
- On the track, Doris Lemngole's time of 4:40.08 in the women's mile put her in sole possession of No. 6 all-time in UA program history
