
2023-24 Season Begins at the Head of the Oklahoma

The Crimson Tide’s first of two fall regattas will take place Saturday in Oklahoma City
OKLAHOMA CITY – The Alabama rowing program will open its 2023-24 season this weekend at the Head of the Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. This event will be the first of two regattas the Crimson Tide will compete in this fall, and the fifth time in program history that Alabama will race at the Head of the Oklahoma.
UA will compete in three races on Saturday with two crews in both the Collegiate 4+ and Collegiate 8+. Before the day is done, the Crimson Tide will also race five pairs in the Collegiate 2-.
After this weekend, Alabama will return to Tuscaloosa for the Head of the Black Warrior River on Saturday, Oct. 28 in what will be the final event of the fall. The Tide will then resume next spring back at home for a dual race with Eastern Michigan on Saturday, March 2.

- 9:30 a.m. – Women's Collegiate 2-
- 1:40 p.m. – Women's Collegiate 4+
- 3:05 p.m. – Women's Collegiate 8+
