Alabama Women's Rowing Walk-ons
The University of Alabama Women's Rowing team is looking for Bama Built athletes! This opportunity is for young women who have never rowed before and will have the potential to earn athletic aid. We are looking for the best female athletes to consider rowing as an avenue to compete for the Crimson Tide at the Division I level.
Alabama Rowing has strong competitive young women on its roster and several of them never sat in a boat until they came to UA.
Walk-ons are among the top athletes on our team. We want to ensure that we are developing a Bama pipeline for Alabama's best female athletes.
We recognize that there are thousands of national champion caliber athletes right here in our backyard who have never had the opportunity to sit in a boat or hold an oar. We are making a commitment to tapping into that talent and providing our in-state female athletes with the best opportunity they can get. This is the chance to be a Bama student-athlete, a chance to wear the script A, and a chance to be among the nation's finest athletes.
Our "Bama Built" program is an investment and a commitment to these athletes. We are providing the opportunity to not only be the best athlete you can, but most importantly, the opportunity to receive a world class education.
We are asking high school coaches in Alabama to help us spread the word of this opportunity to our high school female athletes. We are looking for your best athletes who fit the criteria below. Freshman through senior classes are all welcome.
