The Crimson Tide will face a familiar face in first-year head coach Bryan Hodgson and the Red Wolves
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama men's basketball team will host Arkansas State Monday night at Coleman Coliseum. Making the trip to Tuscaloosa will be the Red Wolves' first-year head coach Bryan Hodgson, who spent the previous four years in Tuscaloosa.
The Crimson Tide continue to have one of the best offenses in the country, as the tide's offenses ranks No. 1 in the country according to KenPom. Alabama has scored 664 points (94.9 ppg), which ranks No. 2 in the country and the most in program history through the first seven games of the season, surpassing the 2000-01 team (644 points).
The Broadcast
Monday's game is set for an 7 p.m. CT tipoff and will be aired on the SEC Network with Roy Philpott (play-by-play) and Joe Kleine (analyst) on the call.
The radio broadcast can be heard on the Crimson Tide Sports Network with Chris Stewart (play-by-play), Bryan Passink (analyst) and Roger Hoover (sideline) on the call, while Tom Stipe (engineer) is turning the dials. The pregame show will begin one hour prior to tipoff.

About Arkansas State
- Head Coach Bryan Hodgson was hired after the 2022-23 season and is the program's 17th all-time head coach. He most recently spent the previous four seasons at Alabama under Nate Oats after following Oats from Buffalo.
- Arkansas State has been on the road for nine of its 12 non-conference outings
- Last season, the Red Wolves began the year with a combined 424 career games played among all players. This season, that number has nearly doubled with the newcomers, totaling 791 career games played across 16 players.
- The Red Wolves are one of just two Sun Belt Conference teams not playing a non-Division-I opponent this season (Georgia Southern being the other), and one of those squads facing more than three Power-5 foes
