Alabama Softball Heads to UAB Wednesday for Midweek Road Matchup

Scouting Alabama
- Alabama resumes makes the quick trip to Birmingham on Wednesday for an in-state showdown against UAB at 6 p.m. CT
- The Crimson Tide and Blazers previously met on March 2 in Tuscaloosa, with Alabama earning the 7-0 shutout victory
- The Tide won its three-game series last weekend at home against Kentucky, taking two of three games from the Wildcats
- Alabama is ranked as high as No. 4 in this week's national polls
- Head Coach Patrick Murphy is in his 24th season as head coach at Alabama with a 1,173-324 (.784) record

- Bailey Dowling hit her fourth home run of the season in game three of the series, tying her for second on the team in homers
- Dallis Goodnight went 2-for-3 in Friday's win, marking her team-leading 11th multi-hit game of the season
