
Alabama Hosts RV/NR Missouri Sunday in Annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day Game

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Coming off a road win and a series sweep of Auburn last weekend, the University of Alabama women's basketball team returns home to host RV/NR Missouri for its annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day game in Coleman Coliseum Sunday, Jan. 30 at 5:02 p.m. CT. The contest will be broadcast on SEC Network, with Richard Cross and Nikki Fargas, Las Vegas Aces President, on the call.
Tickets start at just five dollars, while students can enjoy free admission with their ACT Cards. Both single game tickets and season tickets are on sale now, or fans can call the TIDE PRIDE/Athletic Ticket office at 205-348-BAMA. Masks are strongly encouraged for all spectators.
Free parking is available to fans in the large parking lot adjacent to Coleman Coliseum.
The Crimson Tide is 11-8 this season, including 2-6 in the Southeastern Conference and 1-3 in SEC home games. Alabama will look to spark a win streak after it defeated Auburn on the road last weekend, 75-68, to claim its sixth straight triumph over the in-state rival.
UA outscored Auburn, 44-32, in the final 20 minutes of the game to claw its way out of a first-half loll. Brittany Davis logged her second straight 20-plus point game, knocking down a trio of 3-pointers, grabbing eight rebounds, dishing out three assists and forcing two steals to help complete the sweep. Khyla Wade-Warren tacked on 15 points, four rebounds, a steal and a block, while Megan Abrams, who made her return to the court after a brief hiatus, recorded 10 points and two assists.
Since the conference schedule began, Davis has led the team in scoring average (16.8) and in rebound average (7.9). Mingo-Young follows with 10.9 points per game, while Abrams adds 9.9 points per game.
