Alabama Set for Rematch with Mizzou Saturday Night in Coleman Coliseum

The Crimson Tide and Tigers will tipoff at 5 p.m. CT on SEC Network
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's basketball team will close out the first of two two-game homestands during conference play when the Missouri Tigers visit Coleman Coliseum on Saturday night for a 5 p.m. CT tip off on SEC Network. The Crimson Tide will look to split the season series as just two weeks ago on Jan. 8, then-No. 19/20 Alabama was upset in Columbia, Mo., falling to Mizzou 92-86.
Most recently, the Crimson Tide escaped with a narrow 70-67 victory over No. 13/16 LSU last Wednesday night in Coleman Coliseum. With the victory, Alabama improves to 4-1 this season against AP Top 25 teams, with all four wins coming against top-15 ranked opponents.
The Broadcast
- Saturday's game will be available on SEC Network with Mike Morgan (play-by-play) and Joe Kleine (analyst) on the call
- The radio broadcast can be heard on the Crimson Tide Sports Network with Chris Stewart (play-by-play), Bryan Passink (analyst) and Roger Hoover (sideline) on the call while Tom Stipe (engineer) is turning the dials. The pregame show will begin one hour prior to tipoff.
Notes You Need To Know
- Alabama's last four contests have all been one or two possession games that have been decided by a total of 15 points with the Tide going 1-3 over the stretch. For the year, the Tide is 2-2 in one possession games and 3-3 in games decided by two possessions.
- The Tide limited LSU to 67 points in the victory to improve to 7-0 this season when holding the opposition to under 70 points in a game. It was only the second time UA has achieved that feat in league play, with the only other occurrence coming against then-No. 14 Tennessee (73-68).

- According to the most recent KenPom rankings (as of 1/21), the Tide ranks No. 10 in the nation in offensive efficiency, No. 15 in average possession length and No. 25 in adjusted tempo. The site also ranks UA No. 52 in the nation and defensive efficiency.
- UP NEXT: Alabama will travel to Athens, Ga., to take on the Georgia Bulldogs on Tuesday, Jan. 25, at 5:30 p.m. CT (6:30 p.m. ET) on SEC Network. It will mark the only game between the two teams during the regular season.

About Missouri
- Missouri enters Saturday's contest with Alabama sporting an 8-9 overall mark and is 2-3 in SEC play. Most recently, the Tigers captured their second league victory of the season when they won their first true road contest of the season, defeating Ole Miss by 25 points, 78-53, last Tuesday night in Oxford, Miss.
- The Tigers are led on the season by senior Kobe Brown, a native of Huntsville, Ala. (Lee HS), who recorded game highs of 30 points and 13 rebounds to help capture a 92-86 win over the Crimson Tide in the first match-up this season (1/8/22 in Columbia, Mo.). Brown tops the team in a variety of categories, including scoring (14.2 ppg), rebounding (8.5 rpg), steals (1.5 spg), and field goals made (86) and attempted (172) coming into Saturday afternoon's contest.
- A pair of transfers have also made their impact felt. Junior transfer Amari Davis (Green Bay), who went 10-of-10 from the field to finish with 23 points in the win over the Rebels, also averages in double digits at 10.3 points per contest and leads the team in free throw percentage (84.2 percent). Meanwhile, Jarron Coleman – a Ball State transfer – leads the Tigers in assists (2.5 apg) and threes made (22) and attempted (73).
- As a team, the Tigers are currently ranked No. 176 in the NET, which is second worst in the league (Georgia is ranked No. 229), and owns a 1-4 record vs. Quad 1 opposition and are 2-3 versus Quad 2 teams on the year.
