Head Coach Jenny Mainz Said
"We could not have scripted today's match any better. It was hard-fought by both teams and both teams competed with grit and tenacity. If there's any player you want in that clutch position it's Alba Cortina Pou. She showed the determination and competitive character that she's epitomized in her career at Alabama. It was a total team effort from start to finish. Sydney Riley also stepped up today in a big way. She answered the call with a convincing win in both singles and doubles. Every player on our team played an integral part in this win. I also want to genuinely thank all of our Alabama fans that came out to recognize and support our seniors today. There's no question that our Alabama fans helped inspire our team. There's nothing more powerful than a team playing together with a cause. Today Bama played with conviction in their hearts and stepped up to the challenge. Jonatan (Berhane), Keith (Swindoll) and I are very proud of the way this team played for each other."
