Alabama Volleyball Heads to Oxford for Two Matches Against Ole Miss

SCOUTING ALABAMA
- Alabama continues its spring slate with a pair of road contests at Ole Miss this weekend, playing at 2 p.m. CT on both Friday and Saturday
- The Crimson Tide opened spring play with two matches against South Carolina last weekend in Tuscaloosa, falling 3-1 on Friday and 3-2 on Saturday
- Madelyn St. Germain is ranked fifth in the SEC in digs (112, 3.39/set) and Riley Fisbeck is seventh in assists (307, 9.03/set)
- Following this weekend, future spring opponents include Arkansas (Feb. 12-13), Mississippi State (Feb. 26-27), Texas A&M (March 5-6), Tennessee (March 19-20) and Kentucky (March 24-25)

- Victoria Schmer made her career debut in the Nov. 8 match at Georgia and Allie Trame saw her first action against South Carolina on Jan. 29

HEAD COACH LINDSEY DEVINE
- Head Coach Lindsey Devine is in her second season at the helm of the Crimson Tide
- Devine earned her 300th career win during her debut season at Alabama, doing so with a three-set sweep over Alcorn State on Sept. 14, 2019
- She arrived at Alabama in 2019 following a successful 16-year stint at ETSU as its all-time winningest coach
- Devine led the Buccaneers to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances in 2017 and 2018, the latter as the Southern Conference's first ever at-large bid
- She was twice named SoCon Coach of the Year and had 28 student-athletes earn all-conference honors during her tenure, including three Player of the Year, three Libero of the Year and two Freshmen of the Year award-winners
- Off the court, ETSU sported a 100-percent graduation rate under Devine and earned the AVCA Team Academic Award each of her last nine years, which requires at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade point average
