Abby Marjama arrived in Tuscaloosa in 2020 following two successful seasons at UC Irvine, where she was named the 2018 Big West Conference Freshman of the Year. She was a regular starter for the Crimson Tide over the last two years, amassing 500 kills over 46 matches played. She earned her 1,000th career kill on Oct. 24, 2021 against South Carolina.
Sarah Swanson transferred to Alabama in 2021 as a graduate after playing four years at TCU. She played 83 matches with the Horned Frogs, totaling a career-best 182 kills and 91 blocks as a sophomore in 2018. This season with the Crimson Tide, she has played in 26 matches and leads the team with 64 blocks.

Alabama volleyball welcomed the two newest members of the Crimson Tide volleyball family last week, with Micah Gryniewicz and Morgan Rank committing during the November signing period
Micah Gryniewicz is an outside hitter at Hamilton High School in Chandler, Ariz. She is a 2021 AVCA Honorable Mention All-American, two-time AVCA Phenom Award winner and 2020 Gatorade Player of the Year nominee after leading Hamilton to a 6A state championship last season
Morgan Rank is a defensive specialist at Metea Valley High School in Aurora, Ill. She is a three-time AAU All-American and was named to the 2020 AVCA Phenom and Under Armour All-American watch lists
