Alabama Travels for Matchup with South Florida on Sunday

The Crimson Tide will take on the Bulls at 11 a.m. CT in Tampa, Fla.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama women's tennis is traveling to Tampa, Fla. to compete against South Florida on Sunday at 11 a.m. CT. This is the eighth meeting between the Crimson Tide (8-1) and the Bulls (2-3). The last meeting between these two teams was back in 1998, and the last time the Crimson Tide won was in 1993. The first meeting between the two sides was back in 1983.

- Senior Alba Cortina Pou made history when she was named the Southeastern Conference Player of the Week for a second consecutive week. Cortina Pou became the first Crimson Tide player to win the award back-to-back weeks. She has a team best 8-0 singles record in dual match play, while freshman Isabella Harivson is 7-1.
- In doubles, Harivson and junior Moka Ito came in at No. 56 in the latest Oracle/ITA rankings. The duo is 5-1 in dual match season at the No. 1 spot in the lineup. Cortina Pou and freshman Sasha Gorchanyuk are also 5-1 at the No. 2 spot.

- The Bulls started the season with two wins against Cornell (Jan. 17) and versus Stetson (Jan. 20). Last season, USF finished 13-11, while going 4-2 in American Athletic Conference play.
