The Crimson Tide will wrap up the regular season at South Carolina on Saturday
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama women's tennis team (12-10, 4-10 SEC) concluded its home campaign, falling to No. 1 Georgia (16-4, 11-3 SEC), 4-0, on Thursday.
Prior to the match, the Crimson Tide celebrated Klara Milicevic and Maria Andrienko for Senior Day.
Match Notes
- Alabama's No. 3 pairing of Andrienko and Amina Salibayeva were in a 4-3 battle when Georgia clinched the doubles point
- In singles play, courts one, three and five remained unfinished at the time the Bulldogs claimed the final team point
- Milicevic won set two, 6-2, to force a third set on court one at the time the match was clinched
- On court three, Karla Bartel was up 3-2 in the second set following her 7-5 set one win when the match finished
