Women’s Tennis Starts 2020 Dual Match Season with a Sunday Doubleheader

The Crimson Tide will play Kennesaw State at 11 a.m. and then Alabama A&M at 3 p.m. on Sunday
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's tennis team will begin its 2020 dual match season with a doubleheader against Kennesaw State (11 a.m.) and Alabama A&M (3 p.m.) on Sunday, Jan. 18 inside the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Indoor Tennis Facility.

Team Info
- Alabama returns five of eight players from last year's NCAA Tournament team, including four seniors in Alba Cortina Pou, Luca Fabian, Jacqueline Pelletier and Ann Selim. In addition, freshman Isabella Harvison and junior Moka Ito are ranked as the No. 51 doubles pair to start the season.
- Selim leads the team with a 7-3 singles record in the fall, while Fabian finished with a 6-3 mark last semester. As a duo, Selim/Fabian had a 7-1 mark in the fall.
- Ito/Harvison finished the fall season with a 4-1 record as a pairing, including defeating one nationally ranked opponent.
