
No. 35 Alabama Closes the Regular Season at Home This Weekend Against No. 44 Arkansas and Missouri

The Crimson Tide plays against the Razorbacks on Friday at 5 p.m. CT, before hosting senior day for Andie Daniell versus Missouri on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – No. 35 Alabama closes out its regular season this weekend at home by hosting No. 44 Arkansas on Friday at 5 p.m. CT and then against Missouri on Sunday for Andie Daniell's Senior Day at 1 p.m. CT at the Alabama Tennis Stadium.
Friday's match will be Tuscaloosa Tennis Association Night, while Sunday will serve as Senior Day for Daniell. There will be a short pre-match ceremony to honor one of the Tide's most decorated players in program history.
The Crimson Tide (16-10, 4-7 SEC) will look to build off of its weekend in which the team went 1-1 with the win coming on the road against No. 23 Florida on Friday. The win was the first-ever victory in Gainesville and only the second-ever versus the Gators.
Over her career, Daniell has totaled 83 singles wins which ranks No. 10 all-time in Alabama women's tennis history. The Douglasville, Ga., native has also complied 68 doubles victories in her time at UA. Since April 18, 2017, Daniell has been ranked every single week in the top-125 and this past week she moved up 21 spots to the No. 47 singles player in the country. In her senior campaign, Daniell leads the team with a 21-9 individual record, including a career-high eight wins over nationally-ranked foes.
Off the court she has been named an ITA Scholar-Athlete three times and tabbed to the SEC Women's Tennis Community Service Team the past two seasons. In 2018, Daniell was named a CoSIDA Academic All-American, while earning a spot on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll for the second consecutive year.
Arkansas comes into the match with an 11-12 record overall and 3-8 in the SEC. The Razorbacks have lost their last two SEC matches with both coming to top-20 opponents. Arkansas is led by No. 86 Tatum Rice and No. 88 Martina Zerulo in singles, while the two are the No. 53 doubles pair in the country.
Missouri is still looking for its first conference win of the season after compiling an 0-11 record in SEC play. The Tigers have one player ranked nationally in No. 106 Mackenzy Middlebrooks, who sports a 19-10 singles record in 2018-19.
