Klara Milicevic Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

The senior graduated with a degree in business management earlier in May
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama women's tennis senior Klara Milicevic has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
Milicevic earned the honor for the third consecutive year behind graduating with a 3.63 grade point average in business management.
The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance in the classroom and on the court. To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
Klara Milicevic Notes
- Held a 3.6 GPA while earning her degree in business management
- Compiled a total of 16 victories for Alabama
- Secured nine singles wins and seven doubles victories all at the No. 2 spot for the Tide
- Has held a nationally singles ranking since March 17, currently ranked No. 82
- Earned a three-match winning streak (March 15-21) where she downed each opponent in straight sets, including defeating then-No. 21 Valeria Ray of Vanderbilt, 6-4, 6-4
- Tied with teammate Karla Bartel for most wins over a ranked opponent on the team
