
Andie Daniell Falls in Qualifier Finals of ITA Riviera All-American Championships

Daniell lost in straight sets to No. 31 Meible Chi (Duke)
PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Senior Andie Daniell fell in the qualifier finals of the 2018 Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships on Wednesday in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
No. 70 Daniell dropped, 6-1, 6-1, to the No. 8-seed in the qualifying tournament and No. 31 in the nation, Meible Chi of Duke.
Daniell began the tournament with strong victories over No. 42 Shweta Sangwan (Oregon) and No. 55 Ana Oparenovic (Florida State) on Tuesday, before falling to Chi on Wednesday afternoon.
