Alabama Women’s Tennis Remains Home for Pair of Matches Against Illinois and Washington

Crimson Tide set to face Illinois on Friday at 6 p.m. CT, before battling Washington at 3 p.m. CT the next day
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's tennis team remains home this weekend, as the Crimson Tide is set to host a pair of matches. The Tide will take on Illinois on Friday, Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. CT at the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility, before turning around the next day to face Washington at 3 p.m. CT.
Friday's contest will serve as this year's Bama Salute/Tuscaloosa Tennis Association Night. We will celebrate and recognize those who have served, and those who are currently serving to protect our country. We will also recognize those who are in the Tuscaloosa Tennis Association during the match.
Saturday night's match is this year's Give a T-Shirt/Get a T-Shirt match promotion. Alabama fans will receive a Crimson Tide tennis shirt if they donate a shirt of their own to help Big Brother Big Sisters Tuscaloosa. Taco Mama will be available for Alabama fans to eat, and fans who attend will receive double CTR points.
Last weekend, the Alabama women's tennis team blanked UAB, 4-0, and Alabama State, 7-0, in back-to-back matches to officially begin the 2017 season. The Crimson Tide tallied nine singles win and six doubles victories combined.
