TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -
The Alabama Crimson Tide (55-7) beat the Michigan Wolverines (42-17) by a score of 4-3 in the game two of the 2012 NCAA Softball Tuscaloosa Super Regional held at Rhoads Stadium to advance to the Women's College World Series.
Alabama sophomore Jackie Traina (37-2) took the win while Michigan freshman Haylie Wagner fell to 32-7 with the loss. It is Alabama's eighth trip to the WCWS and sixth NCAA Super Regional Title.
