Final Notes
- Alonzo Gee finished the contest with a team-high 18 points, tied for his second-most in SEC play this season and his 21st time in double-figures in 24 games this season.
- The last three meetings between Alabama and South Carolina have been decided by a total of seven combined points.
- The win was South Carolina's first in Tuscaloosa since January 22, 1997.
- South Carolina entered the game shooting 39.1 from three-point range and was held to just 23.8 percent shooting from beyond the arc, its second-worst percentage in SEC play this season by 3/10ths of a percentage point.
- Eleven of Senario Hillman's 17 points came in the second half on 5-of-6 shooting.

- Alabama started the combination of Alonzo Gee, Anthony Brock, Mikhail Torrance, Demetrius Jemison and Justin Knox for the first time this season. It was the fourth different starting five the Tide has used this season.
- The start was the first of Brock's career.
- UA used a 13-1 run to jump out to an early 12-point, 19-7 lead. The Tide held USC without a field goal for 4:39 during the run.
- UA later ran out to a 15-point (23-10) lead twice, its largest lead at any point in an SEC game this season. The previous high was a 12-point lead opened up against Georgia.
- During a 3:50-span, Alonzo Gee and Mikhail Torrance combined to score all 15 UA points (Gee 6, Torrance 9).
- Mikhail Torrance scored 12 first-half points, his most points in a game since January 21 against Mississippi.
- Alonzo Gee's 13 first-half points tied for his third-most in a first half this season.
