Since arriving at the University of Alabama in 2005, head coach Mic Potter has transformed the Crimson Tide into one of the premier golf programs in the country. Potter's hall of fame resume includes capturing Alabama's first-ever national championship in 2012, guiding Emma Talley to the 2015 individual championship and has coached 52 All-Americans and 25 golfers who have gone on to compete on the LPGA Tour.

Furman - Head Coach (1983-2005)

- Coached the Paladins to 16 NCAA Tournament appearances
- During his 22 seasons at Furman, Potter led the program to six top-10 finishes and 12 top-15 slates
- Qualified for NCAA Regionals every year beginning in 1993 when the format was established
- Won 36 tournament titles during his time at Furman
- Coached 16 All-Americans and 12 ladies that continued their career in the LPGA headlined by Dottie Pepper, a 17-time LPGA Tour Winner

- Married to the former Kim O'Branski of Ithaca, N.Y. The couple has two sons, Ryan and Corey, two granddaughters, Anna and Caroline and a grandson, Maddox.
