Tunwannarux finishes inside the top-20 for the sixth time this season
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Alabama women's golfer Natchanok Tunwannarux finished in 19th place at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional. Tunwannarux posted a 54-hole score of 3-over par 219 (71-74-74), at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club, finishing with the second lowest score from an individual throughout the field.
Tunwannarux's 19th place finish is the highest finish for a UA golfer during an NCAA Regional since Benedetta Moresco placed 18thoverall at the 2023 NCAA Palm Beach Regional.   Â
ROUND ONE HIGHLIGHTS
- In her first season at UA, Tunwannarux finished inside the top-20 in six tournaments including a top-5 finish at the Liz Murphey IntercollegiateÂ
- Tunwannarux posted nine birdies throughout the tournament, including two during the final round
- Tunwannarux's average score of 2.92 (1-under par) on par 3 holes is tied for the fifth lowest-average score amongst all players
