Nick Sheridan joined Kalen DeBoer's Alabama coaching staff in February of 2024. He served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in his first season before shifting to co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach starting in 2025.
Alabama - Co-Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks (2025-Present) | OC/QBs (2024)
- Under Sheridan's direction, the Crimson Tide's offense averaged 33.8 points per game, good for third in the SEC and 22nd nationally in 2024
- The ground game was key to scoring points, with the Tide combining for 41 rushing touchdowns to lead the conference and rank fifth nationally
- Alabama's passing game was also a weapon, with the quarterbacks producing a 146.39 passing efficiency mark that was fifth in the league and 28th nationally
- Big plays were a common theme for the aerial attack, as Alabama averaged 13.6 yards per completion to rank fifth in the conference and 18th nationally
- The 2024 offense was also solid on third downs, converting at 47.3 rate that was second in the SEC and 12th in Division I
Washington - Tight Ends (2022-23)
- When DeBoer took the Washington job, Sheridan followed him to Seattle and coached the Huskies' tight ends in both the 2022 and 2023 seasons
- The UW tight end room was a catalyst for one of the most explosive offenses in the nation in '23, contributing to a passing game that ranked second nationally at 343.7 yards per game
- Jack Westover led the tight end group with 46 catches for 433 yards and four touchdowns, while Devin Culp added 16 grabs for 208 yards and two scores
- The UW tight ends also helped provide blocks for running back Dillon Johnson to rack up 1,195 yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground
- In his first year at Washington in 2022, Sheridan helped UW lead the nation in both passing offense (369.8 ypg) and third-down conversions (57 percent) while also finishing second in total offense at 515.8 yards per game compared to the '21 roster that ranked 73rd in passing offense and 114th in total offense

- In 2019, alongside then-offensive coordinator DeBoer, Indiana improved at least 40 spots in the national rankings from 2018 in time of possession (+87), average yards per pass (+83), average yards per reception (+78), red zone touchdowns (+70), 20-yard passing plays (+69), 20-yard scrimmage plays (+62), points per game (+46) and total touchdowns (+43)
- That same season in '19, tight end Peyton Hendershot, a three-time All-Big Ten honoree, set school records for the position with 52 receptions for 622 yards
- With Sheridan in his second year as quarterbacks coach in 2018, Indiana finished third in the conference in passing offense (257.8 ypg) for the second straight year
- Quarterback Peyton Ramsey started all 12 games, completing 66.0 percent of his passes for 2,875 yards and 19 touchdowns while adding 354 rushing yards and five scores

- In that '17 campaign, the Hoosiers' 265.7 passing yards per game ranked 35th in the country
- Quarterbacks Richard Lagow (1,936 yards, 15 touchdowns) and Ramsey (1,252 yards, 10 touchdowns) combined for 3,188 yards and 25 scores while completing 61.2 percent of their passes, with Ramsey earning freshman All-Big Ten honors after he set a then-school record 65.4 completion percentage mark
Additional Coaching Experience
- Served as an offensive graduate assistant at Tennessee from 2014-16
- Worked with quarterback Joshua Dobbs in 2016, who was selected in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers
- Dobbs finished his career with 7,138 passing yards, the fifth-most in UT history, and became just the fifth player in Vols history to eclipse 7,000 career passing yards
- Sheridan spent one season at South Florida in 2013 under former Western Kentucky coach Willie Taggart
- While with the Bulls, Sheridan worked as the quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator
- Sheridan traveled to Tampa after a two-year stint with Taggart at Western Kentucky from 2011-12
- While at WKU, Sheridan worked as a graduate assistant in '11 and was elevated to quarterbacks coach and passing coordinator in '12
