Alabama had six players selected to the preseason all-conference teams in Tampa
TAMPA – The University of Alabama football team had six players selected to the 2026 Preseason All-Southeastern Conference Team, the league office announced Friday.
The Crimson Tide was represented by three players on league's first team, including one on offense and two on defense. Alabama also had one second-team selection on offense along with a pair of third-teamers on the defensive side of the ball.

Additionally, Alabama was selected to finish sixth overall in the conference with 1,930 total points. Only 10 times since 1992 (34 years) has the predicted champion prior to the season at SEC Media Days proceeded to win the SEC Championship Game.
The Crimson Tide enters the 2026 season having won a league-leading 30 SEC Championships in program history, including eight of the last 14 conference titles. The Tide finished atop the SEC regular-season standings in 2025 to earn its spot in Atlanta.
