Jocelyn Briski Earns Third SEC Softball Pitcher of the Week Award

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Junior pitcher Jocelyn Briski earned her third SEC Softball Pitcher of the Week award of the season Monday, giving Alabama a program-best 10 weekly accolades from the conference this year.

Briski's third weekly award, previously winning on March 3 and March 18, brings Alabama's total this year to 10, which includes four Pitcher of the Week, four Freshman of the Week and two Player of the Week awards. This beats the program's previous best of nine set in 2006 and is the second-highest award total in SEC history, tying Oklahoma's 10 from last season and only trailing the 11 from Florida in 2024 and LSU in 2015.

Briski's three Pitcher of the Week awards are the most for any SEC pitcher this season, joining Arkansas' Robyn Herron as this year's only multiple time honorees.

The Phoenix, Ariz., native appeared in all three games against South Carolina this past weekend, earning a win and a save. She allowed just two earned runs over 12.2 innings pitched, striking out 14 as opposed to just one walk. She went three up, three down in the seventh inning of game two to clinch the series victory and complete the combined shutout alongside starter Vic Moten before throwing a complete game in game three to secure the sweep.
