The Crimson Tide moved up one spot on the team leaderboard on the final day
HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Alabama women's golf team finished the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, Wednesday afternoon at the Long Cove Club, placing 15th at 36-over par 888 (299-303-286). The Crimson Tide's Natachanok Tunwannarux posted her first top-10 finish of the season, ending the tournament in ninth place at 1-over par 217 (76-69-69).
The Highlights
- Alabama posted its lowest score on the final day of the tournament, recording 15 birdies as a team, led by Natachanok Tunwannarux's four birdies
- Tunwannarux moved up 10 spots on the player leaderboard, for her first top-10 finish during her Alabama career, placing ninth overall at 1-over par 217 (76-69-69)
- Harriet Lockley moved up seven spots in the final 18-holes, carding a 9-over par 222 (77-73-72), finishing 43rd overallÂ
- Mattison Frick posted her lowest round of the season at 1-under par 70 and her fifth round of the season scoring par or lower, finishing in 58th place at 12-over par 225 (73-82-70)
- Ryan Flynn carded a 4-over par 75 to close out the tournament, finishing in 68th place at 14-over par 227 (73-79-75)
- Grace Crawford rounded out UA's lineup in 87th overall at 26-over par 238 (80-83-76)
