Ryan Flynn and Natachanok Tunwannarux are both inside the top 10 individuals to lead the Crimson Tide
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Alabama women's golf team carded remains in fourth overall after 36 holes played at the Florida State Match Up. The Crimson Tide boasts a team total of 590 (291-299) and to remain in fourth overall entering Sunday's final round of play.Â
Ryan Flynn and Natachanok Tunwannarux lead UA as both golfers sit inside the top 10 with identical scores of 1-over par 145 through the opening two rounds.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Natachanok Tunwannarux led the Crimson Tide on day two by carding an even par 72 following her round of 73 on Friday to end the day in a tie for ninth overall
- After leading Alabama in the opening round of play with her 1-under par 71, Ryan Flynn collected a 2-over par 74 on Saturday and is also in a ninth-place tie heading into the third and final round
- Mattison Frick matched Tunwannarux for the team's low round with her even par 72 which vaulted her into a tie for 19th overall at 4-over 148 (76-72)
- Grace Crawford is in a tie for 41st with a 154 (73-81), while Harriet Lockley is in a tie for 49th at 12-over 156 (74-82) to round out the UA starting five
- Amanda Gyllner, who is competing as an individual, is in a tie for 47th with a 155 (75-80)
- As a team, Alabama is ranked second on par 5 scoring with a team total of 8-under par (4.80)
TEAM RESULTS
- Tournament host No. 18 Florida State leads the 12-team field at 9-under 567 and owns a 15-stroke advantage over Tulsa (580) and Eastern Michigan (580)
- Alabama is in fourth, six shots better than North Florida (596)
