
Women’s Golf Remains in First Place After Day Two of the Blessings Collegiate Invitational

The Crimson Tide leads the field after 36 holes led by Amely Bochaton
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Alabama women's golf team remained atop the leaderboard after the second round of the Blessings Collegiate Invitational at 2-under par 574 (280-294). Amely Bochaton continues to lead the way for the Crimson Tide, ending the day in third place on the player leaderboard at 4-under par 140.
Joining Bochaton in the top-10 on the player leaderboard was Manon Petitcolas, in for fourth place, Alice Johansson in a tie for seventh place and Natahcanok Tunwannarux rounding out the group in a tie for 10th place. As a team, the Tide continues to post the lowest average score on Par 3 holes (5-under par, 2.88), Par 4 holes (12-over par, 4.12) and ranks second in Par 5 holes (1-under par, 4.97).
The Highlights
- Amely Bochaton continues to lead the Tide on the player leaderboard in third place at 4-under 140 (66-74) just three strokes from first place
- Bochaton leads the field with the lowest average score (3-under par, 2.63) on par 3 holes throughout the tournament
- Right behind Bochaton in fourth place on the player leaderboard is fellow teammate Manon Petitcolas at 3-under par 141 (69-72)
- Alice Johansson moved up two spots on the leaderboard, vaulting into a tie for seventh overall at 2-over par 146 (72-74)
- Natachanok Tunwannarux made the biggest jump on the player leaderboard for UA during the second round, moving up three spots into a tie for 10th place, after recording 14 pars
- Tunwannarux is one of six players to record an eagle throughout the tournament
- Rounding out UA's lineup tied for 20th overall at 8-over par 152 (75-77) is Tiphani Knight
Team Results
- Alabama is the only team to score under par for the tournament, as the Tide leads the tournament field by 11 strokes with Princeton sitting in second at 9-over par
- Arkansas' Maria Jose Marin and Princeton's Thanana Kotchasanmanee are both tied for the lead at 7-under par on the player leaderboard
