
Women’s Golf Wins Second Straight Tournament, Finishing First at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational

Lydia Lasprilla becomes first head coach in program history to begin her tenure with two tournament victories
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Alabama women's golf team picked up its second consecutive tournament victory to start the 2026-27 season, taking home the team title at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational on Monday, finishing with a 54-hole score of 4-over par 868 (280-294-294).
For the second time in program history, the Crimson Tide has won its first two tournaments of the season, as the Tide was led by Manon Petitcolas (5-under par) and Amely Bochaton (3-under par), who each finished among the top five individuals.

- Alabama head coach Lydia Lasprilla became the first coach in program history to win her first two tournaments to begin their UA coaching tenure
- Manon Petitcolas posted her second straight top-five finish to begin her collegiate career, finishing third overall at 5-under par 211 (69-72-70)
- Amely Bochaton finished inside the top-10 for the second consecutive tournament to begin her UA career, placing fourth overall at 3-under par 213 (66-74-73)
- In her first appearance in the UA lineup this season Alice Johansson cracked the top-10 with a 54-hole score of 6-over par 222 (72-74-76), finishing tied for ninth
- Natachanok Tunwannarux finished in the top-10 for the third time during her UA career, ending the tournament at 6-over par 222 (73-74-75) placing ninth along with fellow teammate Johansson
- Tiphani Knight rounded out UA's lineup in a tie for 26th overall at 15-over par 231 (75-77-79)
Team Results
- Alabama won the tournament by eight strokes with Arkansas finishing in second at 12-over par
- Arkansas' Maria Jose Marin took home the individual crown at 12-under par
