TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Alabama women's golf team carded a team score of 3-over par 291 on Friday to sit in fourth overall after the opening round of the Florida State Matchup.

Ryan Flynn leads the Tide after day one and sits in a tie for seventh overall at 1-under par 71, while Natachanok Tunwanna and Grace Crawford are tied for 15^th after both carded a 1-over 73.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

Alabama finished the day ranked second on par 5 scoring with a team total of 6-under par (4.70)
Ryan Flynn collected five birdies and four bogeys on the day to collect her team-leading sixth round of par or better
Natachanok Tunwannarux (four birdies) and Grace Crawford (three birdies) combined for seven total birdies on their way to 1-over total in day one
