Football Garners Seven CSC Academic All-District Selections

The seven Crimson Tide student-athletes were recognized for their performances on the field and in the classroom
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama football had seven student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Football Team, the CSC announced Wednesday.
The 2025 Academic All-District Football teams, as selected by the CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Hubbard and Proctor advance to the CSC Academic All-America national ballot, as first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Jan. 27, 2025.
CSC Academic All-District Honorees
Cole Adams, Wide Receiver
- Appeared in all 15 games for the Crimson Tide, primarily as a punt returner
- Received a bachelor's degree in sport management in December
- Responsible for a 3.93 GPA during the fall semester
Olaus Alinen, Offensive Lineman
- Saw time in all 15 games, contributing largely on special teams
- Graduated in December as a junior with a double major in finance and economics
- Managed a perfect 4.00 GPA in the fall
Blake Doud, Punter
- Earned the starting punting role for the Crimson Tide in 2025
- Totaled 52 punts for 2,201 yards in 15 games, averaging 42.3 yards per punt
- Enrolled in a graduate certificate program at UA with a focus on data analytics
- Closed his fall semester with a perfect 4.00 GPA
Wilkin Formby, Offensive Lineman
- Appeared in all 15 games in 2025, including 14 starts along the right side of the offensive line
- Surrendered only three sacks in 504 pass blocking snaps according to Pro Football Focus
- Earned his bachelor's degree in sport management in December
- Sported a 3.53 GPA during the fall semester
Bray Hubbard, Safety
- A reliable presence in the Crimson Tide secondary, starting all 15 games at safety
- Named a second team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and received third team honors from the Associated Press
- Garnered All-SEC First Team accolades from the league coaches
- Tallied 79 tackles, including 4.5 for loss (-23 yards), to go with a team-best four interceptions, six pass breakups, three forced fumbles, two sacks (-20 yards) and one quarterback hurry
- Completed his bachelor's degree in sport management in December
- Produced a 3.91 GPA at the end of the fall semester
Kadyn Proctor, Offensive Lineman
- A trusted protector who was an anchor on Alabama's offensive line, having started all 15 games at left tackle
- Garnered consensus All-American status after receiving first team honors from the AFCA, Football Writers Association of American (FWAA) and Walter Camp in addition to second team honors from the Associated Press (AP) and The Sporting News
- Named the co-recipient of the Jacobs Blocking Trophy, awarded to the SEC's most prolific blocker
- Owned an 85.6 overall grade according to Pro Football Focus, the second-highest overall grade among SEC offensive tackles
- Allowed just two sacks in 610 pass blocking snaps according to PFF
- Was also utilized as a ball carrier, turning five carries into 16 rushing yards and three first downs
- Completed his bachelor's degree in sport management in December
- Earned a perfect 4.00 GPA during the fall semester
Ryan Williams, Wide Receiver
- A dynamic pass-catcher that appeared in 14 games, including 12 starts
- Produced 49 receptions for 689 yards and four touchdowns, highlighted by a team-best 14.1 yards per catch average
- Pursuing a degree in psychology
- Posted a 3.96 GPA during the fall semester
