
No. 19/18 Alabama Football Defeats Wisconsin 38-14

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The No. 19/18 Alabama football team (2-1) earned its second straight victory, defeating Wisconsin (2-1), 38-14, in front of a sold-out crowd inside Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The Crimson Tide totaled 454 yards of offense, largely attributed to its passing attack. Quarterback Ty Simpson finished the day 24-of-29 passing with 382 yards and four touchdowns while leading all Alabama players with 25 yards on the ground as the result of six carries. The Tide leaned on its receiving corps on Saturday, led by Ryan Williams, who totaled five catches for 165 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Germie Bernard continued his run of form, securing four catches for 62 yards and a touchdown, adding a two-yard rushing score on his lone carry. Isaiah Horton contributed five catches for 48 yards and a touchdown as well.Â
The Crimson Tide defense managed four sacks and forced two turnovers, highlighted by two interceptions from Bray Hubbard. Deontae Lawson led the defensive effort, contributing nine total tackles, including three solo stops. The Tide consistently forced pressure up front, as LT Overton, Yhonzae Pierre, Qua Russaw, and London Simmons each managed one sack apiece. The Alabama defense surrendered just 209 total yards of offense, limiting the Badgers to only 92 rushing yards.Â
