
Women’s Basketball Set to Compete in Ballin in Boutwell Exhibition Game

The Crimson Tide will face Florida State in historic Boutwell Auditorium in Birmingham, Ala.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama women's basketball will play Florida State in an exhibition game at the Boutwell Auditorium in Birmingham, Ala. The Crimson Tide and Seminoles are set to play in Ballin in Boutwell on Thursday, Oct. 16 at Noon CT.

About the Exhibition
- Alabama and Florida State are the only two women's basketball programs represented in the week-long event
- The teams will meet for the first time since the 2024 NCAA Tournament when the Crimson Tide defeated the Seminoles, 82-74, in the first round
- Florida State, like Alabama, advanced to the second round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament and concluded the season with a 24-9 overall record
- UA returns eight from its squad a year ago, while welcoming seven newcomers – three transfers and four freshmen
