
Alabama Meets with Media and Completes Final Practice Ahead of 2026 NCAA Tournament First Round

The No. 6 seed Crimson Tide and No. 11 Rhode Island are set for a 1:30 p.m CT tipoff on Saturday
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The No. 6-seeded Alabama women's basketball team took the floor at the KFC Yum! Center to finish preparing for its opening First Round NCAA Tournament game against No.11 seed Rhode Island. The Crimson Tide (23-10) and Rams (28-4) will tip off at approximately 1:30 p.m. CT on ESPNEWS.
Head coach Kristy Curry and student-athletes Karly Weathers and Jessica Timmons met with local and national media before the team went through a full, 90-minute, team practice on the game floor to finalize its gameplan ahead of Saturday's matchup.
