The annual day of giving campaign will run from Tuesday, April 15 through Thursday, April 17
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Bama Blitz, The University of Alabama's annual online giving event, returns for a eighth year in 2025 as it begins at noon CT on Tuesday, April 15 and ends at noon CT Thursday, April 17.
Bama Blitz leverages the power of social media and crowdfunding to encourage alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends to give back and pay it forward in honor of their favorite cause, college, or program.
Stephanie and Chad Wheeler will match dollar-for-dollar the first $5,000 contributed to the Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund during Bama Blitz.
"We believe in the power of education and the transformative impact of athletics," the Wheeler's said. "Supporting student-athletes at The University of Alabama isn't just about funding their dreams; it's about investing in the character, resilience, and leadership these individuals bring to our community, and we hope you'll join us in empowering their journey."
Furthermore, three hundred donations will unlock an $11,000 challenge gift from Rochelle and Michael Koslin.
"An athletics scholarship is the key that unlocks the door to higher education for so many talented student-athletes who would not otherwise be able to attend The University of Alabama," the Koslin's said. "We are proud to support the Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund during Bama Blitz and encourage alumni, fans, and all the Bama faithful near and far to join us."
About Bama Blitz
- Donations to Athletics during Bama Blitz will benefit the Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund (CTSF), the annual scholarship fund for Alabama Athletics.
- Alabama Athletics has set a goal to raise $57,014 – the cost of a full annual scholarship for a student-athlete.
- Donors who contribute $40 or more to CTSF during Bama Blitz will receive a home state decal, so they can show their Bama pride where they reside
