Alabama’s Molly Brown Davidson finishes in the top-20 on the player leaderboard
MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Alabama women's golf team wrapped up its first tournament of the Spring season, finishing in 13th place at the Moon Golf Invitational, with a team total of 32-over par 896 (298-296-302). Leading the way for the Crimson Tide was freshman Molly Brown Davidson with her third top-20 finish of her freshman season, finishing tied for 17th overall at 2-over par 218 (71-73-74).
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Finishing tied for 17th on the player leaderboard, Molly Brown Davidson posts her third-highest finish during her freshman campaign, posting a pair of birdies in her final round
- Ryan Flynn vaulted nine spots on the player leaderboard, with a team-low of 1-over par 73 in the final round, finishing 51st overall at 9-over par 225 (78-74-73)
- Mattison Frick placed 58th with a 54-hole score of 11-over par 227 (75-73-79)
- Harriet Lockley finished tied for 68th overall at 13-over par 229 (74-76-79)
- Rounding out the lineup at 77th overall for Alabama is Kennedy Carroll at 16-over par 232 (79-77-76)
TEAM RESULTS
- No. 7 Florida State took home first place on the team leaderboard at 2-under par 862 (286-287-289)
- Florida State's Lottie Woad and South Carolina's Eila Galitsky finished tied for first place on the player leaderboard at 5-under par 211
