Alabama’s Molly Brown Davidson leads the way for the UA in 3rd place
MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Alabama women's golf team sits in 12th place after the opening round of the Moon Golf Invitational with a team total of 10-over par 298. Leading the way for the Crimson Tide is Molly Brown Davidson, in a tie for 3rd place on the player leaderboard with a score of 1-under par 71.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Molly Brown Davidson's opening round of 71 is her third round under par this season, finishing the day tied for third place while posting a trio of birdies
- Harriet Lockley sits just inside the top-30, with a first round score of 2-over par 74, finishing in tied for 29th overall
- Mattison Frick posted a pair of birdies and improved by three strokes on the back-9, wrapping up the first round in a tie for 40th place at 3-over par 75
- Ryan Flynn sits in 71st place overall after carding a 6-over par 78 in the opening round
- Rounding out the lineup is Kennedy Carroll in a tie for 78th place at 7-over par 79
