Top Two Showdown in Tuscaloosa on Saturday
Not only is it Alabama vs. Auburn Saturday afternoon, but it's a matchup of the top two men's basketball teams in the nation. We're looking forward to a packed house for the 3 p.m. CT tip. Tickets are sold out through the Alabama Ticket Office but are available through SeatGeek.
Don't forget that we are also welcoming ESPN College GameDay to Coleman, with doors opening for students at 7:30 a.m. CT and general public at 8 a.m. CT.
Baseball Hosts Bradley for Opening Weekend
Baseball Opening Weekend is upon us for the 2025 season, and we're excited to get things started right here in Tuscaloosa as our team hosts Bradley for a three-game series. Friday's opener is slated for a 4 p.m. CT start, while Saturday and Sunday are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. CT. We've got several giveaways for Opening Weekend including schedule magnets, Valentine's trading cards and t-shirts on Opening Day. Both season and single-game tickets are available by contacting the Alabama Ticket Office or by visiting the box office at Sewell-Thomas Stadium on game days.
Women's Basketball Welcomes Aggies to Town
Our women's basketball team will look to make it four wins in a row Monday when it hosts Texas A&M in Coleman Coliseum for a 7 p.m. CT tip. The Tide's victory over Mississippi State last time out was its 20th of the season, making this year's team the fastest to reach that milestone in program history! Tickets for our three remaining regular-season home games can be purchased through the Alabama Ticket Office.
Tennis Wraps up Nonconference Schedule this Weekend
Both our men's and women's tennis teams will be in action this weekend in Tuscaloosa to wrap up nonconference play with the men hosting Presbyterian on Friday at 6 p.m. CT and the women taking on ETSU on Friday at 2 p.m. CT and Minnesota on Sunday at 10 a.m. CT. Admission to tennis matches is free.
Softball Continues Road Swing; Home-Opening Weekend on Deck
Our softball team will take part in its second road tournament of the season, facing San Diego State, Liberty, Ohio State, No. 4 UCLA and No. 9 Oklahoma State at the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational in Clearwater, Fla. The Tide's opening game of the three-day event takes place Friday at 11 a.m. CT against the Aztecs on the SEC Network.
Following this weekend's action, we will play a midweek contest vs. Jacksonville State at Toyota Field in Madison, Ala., and will then open the home slate February 21-23 in the Easton Bama Bash. A limited number of tickets are on sale for the Bama Bash through the Alabama Ticket Office.
Gymnastics Readies for Zou at the Lou
Our gymnastics team is back in action Friday in St. Charles, Mo. for the Zou at the Lou quad meet featuring Alabama, Missouri, Illinois, Iowa. First rotation is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. CT and will air on SEC Network+.
Track and Field Splits Squad for Three Events this Weekend
With just two weekends left of the indoor regular season, our track and field teams will split up to compete at three different locations this weekend, including the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston, Mass. and the Music City Challenge in Nashville, Tenn.
Golf Teams Prepare for Start of Spring Season
Our golf teams will begin the spring portion of their schedules next week with both competing in tournaments in the Sunshine State. Our women are slated to participate in the Moon Golf Invitational in Melbourne, February 16-18, while our men will take part in the Watersound Invitational February 17-19 in Panama City.
Swimming and Diving Heads to SEC Championships
Postseason swimming and diving is just around the corner as our teams are gearing up for the Southeastern Conference Championships, which are being held February 17-22 in Athens, Ga. The meet will be streamed live on SEC Network+.
