TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The No. 4/4/4 Alabama football team (8-2, 6-1 SEC) dropped its first Southeastern Conference contest of the 2025 campaign, falling, 23-21, to No. 11/11/10 Oklahoma (8-2, 4-2 SEC) Saturday afternoon inside a sold-out Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Ty Simpson led the offensive unit as he completed 28-of-42 passes for 326 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Daniel Hill paced the Tide backfield, closing with 60 rushing yards on 15 carries go with a pair of touchdowns.
Josh Cuevas led Alabama in receiving yards, hauling in six passes for 80 yards and a touchdown, while Germie Bernard led the Tide in receptions, securing seven catches for 71 yards.
Defensively, Bray Hubbard, Domani Jackson and Deontae Lawson each produced a team-high five tackles. Kelby Collins and Keon Sabb tallied the Tide's two sacks.

- The loss snapped Alabama's 17-game home winning streak that began in 2023, the longest active streak in Division I
- The Tide offense outgained the Sooners, 406-212, including 326 yards through the air compared to 138 by Oklahoma. It marked the fourth game this season that UA has recorded 400-plus yards of total offense.
- Ty Simpson's 28 completions stand as a new career-best, surpassing his previous career-high of 24 completions
- Josh Cuevas' six receptions and 80 receiving yards both mark new career highs
